Job Description
1. Design and implement network infrastructures that meet the company's business requirements.
2. Install, configure and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls and virtual private network (VPN).
3. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
4. Monitor network performance and analyse network traffic, utilizing network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
5. Provide remote and on-site support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
6. Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
7. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnels to ensure timely resolution of network-related issues.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. 2 years of experience working in network administration or a related field.
3. Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, routing and switching protocols, DNS, DHCP, etc.
4. Proficient in the configuration and maintenance of Cisco, HP, and H3C network equipment.
5. Solid understanding of network security principles, including access control, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
7. Certification in industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent knowledge is considered a plus.
