Job Description
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
• Always research to improve all warehouse operations according to companyfs objectives
• Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
• Degree in Management or related disciplines / more than 10 years of related working experience preferably in manufacturing field
• Possess the ability to multitask, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Possess knowledge in logistics and shipping will be an added advantage
• Computer literate and possess good communication skills
• Committed and dedicated to assigned activities by the company
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Good in supply chain management skills and have knowledge in logistic and shipping
• Good in Inventory Control and Reporting Skills
• Willing to work at Banting (near KLIA, Sepang)
