1. Plan, implement and review HSE activities within manufacturing plant to cultivate a safe and healthy environment. 2. Liaise with government agencies and other relevant authorities or compliance matters. 3. Create safety awareness to all employees and emphasize responsibilities of all employees towards safety. 4. Investigate all industrial accident, near misses, dangerous occurrence and occupational diseases for improvement initiatives. 5. Plan, implement and review Emergency Response Program. 6. Prepare and conduct safety orientation, training and job site procedures. 7. Prepare HSE related reports (yearly, monthly, weekly, or daily) needed by management. 8. Instil proactive HSE culture in the organization. 9. Assist in all audit activities (internal or external) toward company. 10. Conduct safety or environment audits and inspection of work areas at workplace. 11. Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.

1. Minimum Degree holder of Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health or any other related courses. 2. Possess minimum three (3) years of working experiences as safety officer in manufacturing industry. 3. Good command of written and spoken English and able to write HSE reports. 4. Computer literate in using Microsoft Office. 5. A Green Book Holder certified by DOSH will be an added advantage. 6. Able to work under minimum supervision, high self-commitment and discipline. 7. Good leadership skills in motivating and developing people. 8. Analytical and good decision making skills. 9. Meticulous in carrying out inspection and audits and follow up with other functional units. 10. Committed and dedicated to assigned activities by the company. 11. Able to travel (outstation) to others’ subsidiaries of company as when needed. 12. Willing to work in Meru, Klang.<
