- Manage the Control Room shift and ensure that the control room is staffed on a constant basis. - Ensure compliance with requirements for environmental, health and safety in plant operations. - Implement and execute of Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) system in accordance with the GSPP policies and Local Law. - Manage all Permit to Work (PTW) system (environmental, health & safety) related to activities in the Cogen plant. - Monitor for efficient and safe operations, ensuring that all applicable internal procedures and regulatory requirements are met. - Assure the operation and maintenance works are aligned to requirements and needs. - Able to guide to subordinate regarding basic maintenance. - Implement 6S at workplace. - Develop, implement and update operating procedures for all systems. - Implement all necessary Environmental, Health and Safety measures for safe operation and maintenance activities at the Cogen plant. - Able to perform any inspection in confined space.

- A degree Engineering from an accredited university. - 5 years’ experience as a Shift Leader in a Power/Cogen Plant. - Familiar with boiler and gas turbine. - 1st Grade or 2nd Grade Engineer (Steam) - 1st Grade or 2nd Grade Engineer (Internal Combustion Engines) - Substantial knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in the operation and maintenance of a Power/Cogen Plant. - Able to work on day/night shift and shift covering during off/rest day - Familiarized with applicable guidelines/codes/standards/legislations in line with the Akta Keselamatan Dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan 1994 (Akta 514), ASME or BS Standard, ISO and any related guidelines for plant operation. - AGT/AESP certificate holder.
